Okay, so Virgin Mobile? - Page 2

I plan on doing the same thing for college. I didn't want to be stuck with a 2 year contract, with a higher monthly payment. The only downside is I can't get the Samsung Mesmerize.

I have the Rumor touch and Virgin Mobile. I live in south Florida and the 3G's actually faster than I thought. I can watch Youtube, go on Facebook and all that without any issues. The phone's however crappy and does randomly reset itself; no major setback though.

I'm satisfied overall

Yeah, I am coming from Verizon. And $50 a month for no web is crazy when I can easily get unlimited web AND text for half that price. And it's a smartphone, Android 2.2 at the moment, so that's pretty sweet. It's a small screen, 3.2" if I remember correctly.

I would recommend sipdroid. I bought a samsung intercept because I wanted the physical keyboard but if the optimus v had one id buy it instead.
