The first major update to the Windows Phone 7 software is now being delivered to customers, Microsoft said on Monday. While the update does not include highly anticipated features such as cut and paste, it does lay the groundwork for future updates.

Wow... you can't even "copy" with them? Sad...

the no copy paste was a huge dealbreaker with me to begin with. i was at the att store trying to send a link to my brother's phone from their WP7 phone (ironically about how nice the phone was), and after repeated attempts I came to the conclusion that WP7 phones didn't have that feature. so, i decided to wait on WP7 until they addressed the issue. apparently, they still haven't figured it out... people actually do copy and paste on their phones microsoft.

So this is a major update that just improves the process for installing future updates. A+ effort.

Any day now that copy/paste update is gonna come and blow Android and iOS out of the water. Windows Phone 7 will become the standard in what to expect from a smartphone.

Any day now... Just you wait!

Any day now, it's coming.

Oh ya, almost here... any day

Just a little more, any day now...

Come on now, it'll be the best, any day...

... any day now

Such a disappointing OS. Microsoft was late to the game and released what I would call at best a beta :/
