I tried it sitting a month or so ago, and it did not work at all lol

Really depends on your clothing and lighting too. So its more of a situational thing. But they did patch it when it got released.

Fanboy alert.

I'm sorry but I really hate Sony for what they are doing.
Not a fanboy, just logical.

Hate them all you want, doesn't change the fact that comment was completely ridiculous and you know it.

On topic: I'd actually consider getting a Kinect for my computer, need to wait to see what people think of the integration first

"Computer..."
"Computer standing by..."
"Activate: Media Center."
"Activating..."
"Browse to: Movies - Comedy"
"Play: Pineapple Express"
That would be sweet, that alone would probably sell it for me.

Cool, it is obvious you have no idea what the lawsuit is actually about. Thanks bro.

It's a new technology, give it a little bit to get the kinks worked out. I'll admit it can spaz out at times, but really I find the technology impressive, and with some refining I'd drop the word world changing. If they can refine the precision (which I've seen propositions for), Minority Report manipulation really isn't more than a decade or so away. And releasing SDKs for free is only going to speed up that process. I think it's a good decision on Microsoft's part; this is how we accelerate tech development.

EDIT: I didn't mention that I own it and have experience with it in multiple lighting and color conditions.

I guess your right, I have no clue how hacking hardware for non intended uses has anything to do with what you were talking about BRO.

This will be good for facial recognition in logon screens and navigating through Windows using simple gestures. Pretty neat for light PC usage.
