470 @ 1.137V (Safe?)

Just wondering if these settings look OK for 24/7 folding and gaming. Temps are good, <70C, I just don't want the voltage to degrade this card. 1.137V isn't that much, and shouldn't make a difference, right?

Personally, I would not use any voltage higher than 1.1v for 24/7 use. I say 1.1v because this is the afterburner limit Asus give to my GTX 460.

How do you get Afterburner to go above 1087mV? That is as far as mine goes.

The BIOS limits the card to 1.087V. You have to flash it if you want to go higher.

Try this: http://downloads.guru3d.com/Afterbur...load-2604.html

Uninstall Afterburner, install this one. So far it has not given me any problems as a "beta".

Lets me go to 1.15v ofc it doesn't matter, b/c my dang card design comes with 0 heatsinks for anything but the core, so VRMs hit heat limit at anything 1.1v+ /rant

1.1v was my max on AIR for 24/7 and it should let you get your max OC possible.

I don't mean to hijack the thread but what's the most acceptable temps for a gtx 470? I'm folding as well 24/7
