Okay so change of plan...I was fine with that motherboard but I think Im going to replace my 870-UD3 for something alot better. Looking between the 100-200 price range has to have SLI/Crossfire with USB 3.0 Thanks !!

Look for something with the 890FX chipset (you get double x16). Theres a thread going on the AMD motherboards forum listing designs with good powerphases and cooling (essential for overclocking).

If you are on a budget, 880 chipsets will get you two x8 lanes.

The gigabyte 870a-ud3 does support crossfire, just at 16x/4x. It would be fine for 4870s. Might slightly bottleneck 5850s though.

...and that's what OCN does to you. Takes your previous notion of what "a build" is going to be and tacks on 60% more...

I know Ive learned a lot today! Everyone helped me optimize my system build and get the most bang for my buck.

Ohh and Im more than likely going to get the MSi 870 965 its has a 8+2 phase , CF and looks really nice. The 970 looks nice but I honestly will never use a quad or tri SLI so no need to purchase that
