Is it safe to buy a 6950 from Powercolor? Ive never had any experience with them, so i need some input before i click buy.

And before you comment, this thing is only $230.

I know there warranty service sucks and is slower then all get out. took 2 months to get back my 4870 I got from them and it was still not working right as they somehow desolder the rpm pin off the PCB. Not to mention it died like 2 months later, even tho it had 6months left on warranty I just bought a new vid card. Now XFX they are pretty fast on there warranty returns.

Spend the extra $30 for a more reputable company IMO. I wouldn't put my faith in Powercolor warranty/support.

Powercolor, PNY & Palit are all terrible companies at a whole. Buying their hardware isnt worth it. Buy from a reputable company such as Sapphire, gigabyte, evga, MSI or asus

Powercolor is a legit brand. I had a powercolor 4870 for awhile. No issues. sold it for a HIS 5870, another "bottom barrel brand" as people say. I've had no issues with HIS either. In fact I just bought another used HIS 5870 for crossfire!

I have also owned 2 PNY cards. No issues with those either

Yeah if you try to email them its very likely your email will get caught in their "spam" AKA ignored. At least this is the reply I got after 37 emails trying to contact them when my 5850 wasn't working right. Definitely avoid them at all costs.
