can someone help with this TDP?

i understand its for thermal design

but what it is really for???

can i overclock it?

do i need to consider it when i overclock/??

You only need to consider TDP when buying a mobo and CPU, and possibly when looking at a new cooler. Don't worry about it.

Basically it means heat outputted/power consumption in watts
Important when considering board selection. Your board is a low quality 4+1, officially rated by Gigabyte at 125W and no further (not even 140W). I wouldn't consider it safe for overclocking. Your 955 is 125W.
