New SSD with Vista and upgrade to Win7

Hey guys I have a new SSD comin
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820233122
My question is this.
1) I have Vista and a Win7 upgrade. Is there anything special I need to do to
the SSD before I install and upgrade.
2) Do I need to set the SSD up on Vista before I upgrade to Win7
This SSD is only going to be a boot drive as it is all I could afford after all the other parts I bought for my new build which I will be posting in a few days. I just am not very familir with SSD's and could use some help if anyone could. I have been reading up on the tips and tricks for SSD's but mainly it looks like they are for WIN7. Anyway thanks for any help you can give me.

You can do a clean install of Win 7 using the upgrade disk if you follow the instructions in this guide,. Method #3 tends to be the one used most often. Essentially you do a clean install of Win 7, don't enter the Product Key or try to activate, don't run Windows Update, then upgrade that install of Win 7.

Personally I like method 2 In that article... It seems easier to do and less time consuming than double installing the OS.
With a 32GB SSD Make sure to keep media libraries documents and Downloads to a secondary disk which you need for such a small drive to store non crucial programs.

No problem. You can do that with a Vista Upgrade disk as well, although I can't imagine why anyone would want to.
