You're kidding right?

The boy hacked their network, stole the code to a game they'd been working on for years, and then the game was released on BitTorrent, costing Valve many millions of dollars, and you'd congratulate and hire the boy?

Oh, and hackers don't always make good game developers, or vice versa.

He clearly stated that it wasn't him to release the game on bit torrent, that he did it only because he's probably the biggest Half Life fan in Germany.
And, he got the balls to write directly to Gabe and apologize for his actions, explaining the way his network was unprotected. And honestly, in my moral code this deserves forgiveness and possibly (if, obviously, he's qualified) a job at the company.
And, after all of this, Valve was setting him a lame FBI trap.

So, yeah, I'm with the kid.

That was a pretty neat story. Unfortunately, I didn't make my way into the computer world until 2008, with my Dell XPS 630 and 8800GT

This is actually what I thought about when I was reading as well. Fortunately, I don't think Crytek will lose too much money from the leak. I considered downloading it, but I want the whole, finished game!

I've been playing the original Crysis for the past week or so.
