Currently i'm on 17x..

motherboard is fa890fxe

all i find is change it at bios but where?

i cant find it...

buy now i am using amd overdrive to overclock, is that ok?

There should be an option to change the multi upward.
I'm surprised your generic 1333 RAM has been able to get this far, see if it can do 1600Mhz!

and drop your ht back down to 2000


look around in your bios. best thing to do. just dont change anything when you dont know what it is. if/when youve read enough, it'll pop out at ya!

Good catch. HT should optimally be as close to 2000Mhz as possible. Higher provides no benefits, might even make things unstable.

for now i had turn off the auto overclocking in bios so i can get the ht down.. but that also affect my AOD setting so i 'm trying to get back where it was without changing the HT..

btw how to raise the ram mhz?

and are you all just overclock your system by using bios function only?

because my bios is very confusing me..

yes! by re-install AOD now i can cahnge the muti up to 20x but still searching how to change the RAM mhz...

see if you can bring up your ram multi one
it was hitting 1566 (733*2), see if it can go to 1600 (800x2)

if it cant do that, try with the cpu multi 18, fsb 225 (4050mhz)
with the stock ram multi it should put it upto 1500 (750x2)

Overclock via the BIOS, not AMD Overdrive.
