i have been running 3.42ghz stable since 4 months now....had already booted to windows 3.6 nd 3.8 but its not stable...with 3.6ghz even with accetable temps its not stable in games like mafia2 nd others...even prime crashes after few moments of testing with temps like 62,65,62,64(these r with 3.6)....

with 3.8 i booted into windows but didn't tested anything....

and almost is kept to AUTO though i know MANUAL settings would give stability so u guys can help me with this.....

thanx

Im predicting you'll need around 1.45v - 1.5v cpu vcore in order to have a chance at hitting 3.6

set your cpu vcore to 1.45
set your FSB to 400
Set your ram to 800mhz

Check temps while running prime.

ok i have set all the settings to manual.... i set my cpu Vcore to 1.45v BUT cpuz under load is saying 1.408 with lows of 1.392 and Everset is saying 1.41v!!

wasn't it supposed to be 1.45v under load?

nd my corsair RAM says 1.5v....so is it safe to give 2.0v or 2.1v?
wouldn't it FRY

It's called vdrop I believe. Mine is the same way. 1.5V in BIOS but CPUz reads 1.45V. It's not that big of a deal, as long as you keep your voltage in CPUz reasonable.

But set your RAM to whatever voltage is recommended by the manufacture.

on the memory you just need 1.55v..its a DDR3 you might burn it down to hell if you do 2.1v on that..

That is why I told him not to do it derp.

Also, in CPUz, it says I have 1.504v, but in Bios I am set at 1.5275, so don't worry about it. Vdroop on these boards are is nuts but whatever.
