Xeon X5660 or i7 920

Thread Starter
I have both of these already and I am getting ready to sell one of my rigs. Which one is better for gaming? I know most games don't use six cores yet but it feels nice to have.

So what's better X5660 or i7 920.

Off topic: I got six X5660 for $250 total from a friend. Can't beat that.

Psh. I'd keep the 6 core.
Why get rid of it? I wouldn't.

I'd keep the sixxer and sell everything else.

Definitely the X5660... No way can a 920 keep up with that

I sold the 20 X5660's I got for just being awesome.

Since you only have one video card you should sell everything and jump over the Sandy Bridge.

Yes, he sell it to get a 5% increase in games and a 25% decrease in all threaded applications. Makes perfect sense.

Man, you are such a moron.
