My theory is that the OP is from the future, and has brought back a block that hasn't even been invented yet. Either that, or he found a prototype block that the military has been using on their supercooled computers found inside their military vehicles, but the Taliban hijacked the vehicle, and sold it on the black market.

Not speaking about this industry specifically, but, getting professional reviews is more than just giving someone a product- it usually involves compensation as well for the time involved, especially if you're not a name brand that professionals are dying to review/test.

Anyway, I'd recommend getting http://skinneelabs.com/ attention.

As others have said, I would find a more credible source like others have suggested in previous posts. I wouldn't just grab anyone you can find. Good luck

Well gee then, why doesn't every company that makes bread own their own wheat farms? Because others are better equipped to handle the economy of scale involved in testing. Even Fortune 100 companies send products to professional testing labs to provide them with data on their prototypes. How do I know this? I used to work for one.

Do you know how many inventions have changed the world in some form or another that have come from someone's basement? Go watch Flash of Genius. It is a cheesy way to make my point, but it does. 50% is by no means likely to be achievable, but it is in no way impossible. There are too many unknowns in the universe we live in to be making claims like this. We have no idea if he is simply trying to improve a long time existing and tweaked technology of a brick of copper on something, or if he has come up with a fundamental change to allow that increase.

There is no need for everyone here to be a&&hats toward the guy. Let him fail on his own. He as well as every other inventor doesn't need your negative, nothing achieving, "Fail, Fail, Fail", chanting. Doing so as far as I can tell has no positive outcome, but could cause an otherwise industrious person to give up. Quit tearing people down, and aim to build them up. Your life, and the life of everyone around you will be much better for it.

BTW. This isn't just aimed at you, but everyone in the thread with that attitude.

I know of a waterblock design that performs better than the EK Supreme, by quite a lot.

The only downside is that it's virtually impossible to machine. It would need to be done via molding melted copper and using a very high pressure injection technique.

It would, by sure, outperform an EK Supreme by a 10%. It's just that its cost would be probably more than fivefold

@OP: If you outperform my Supreme HF by a 5%, I'll consider you my hero.

Keep up with that spirit, and keep us informed!

Whatever, he should still buy whatever he needs and do the test himself.. so he can be sure they are 100% accurate.

Thread Starter
thanks for the input everyone, again as i have said a 50% improvement is not talking about a block that would be 50% lower in temp, any it is a estimation. well thanks for all the positive input! and yes i dont have all the money i need right now to buy everything i need to run the test myself, but somebody on the forum already took the job^^
well, we will see ^^ and yes as i posted a post long time ago "i know my english is not that great but as long as everybody seem to understand than i am cool with it"
i am very excited ^^ hahahaha

The only documented Waterblock that exceeds the EK Supreme HF is the AC Kryos XT with thick O ring...tempreture differences withhold a value of <0.3 degrees though.

The reason for the Kryos´ better performance is because of his restrictivness ..it allows the water to absorb and dissipate more heat because their is more time to conduct than with the EK Supreme HF.

But that has of course a negative effect on the remaining blocks and components which will be supplied with warmer water and also on the over all flowrate of a full loop with the Kryos in it.

I myself sent my Kryos back and got the EK Supreme HF Full Nickel due to that information provided by charliehorse555.

I hope I made a good choice and that my flowrate and other blocks will benefit from that decision
