buy used items from ebay, same thing half the price unless you like being full retail for warranty purposes

I would suggest i7 920 d0 with any x58 mboard and some 6gb corsair 1600 xms3
and a medium/high air cooling heatsink

What you're looking at is parts for a different socket.
You could definitely go with that, but I don't have much knowledge on LGA 1156 that so I linked LGA 1366
LGA 1156 is the "mainstream" socket. LGA 1366 is the "enthusiast" socket.
The RAM I linked is triple-channel, which is preferred for LGA 1366 motherboard.
The set I linked is probably the best bang for your buck memory you can get for LGA 1366.
I paid $234.00 for the same set 3 years ago and have no regrets

The configuration I linked give you a better upgrade path and should perform better as well.
The motherboard you linked does not offer x16 in two PCI-E lanes at the same time, so no real option for SLI. It also lacks 6.0GB/s SATA and USB 3.0 ports.
LGA 1366 also offers you the option of six-core processors, if you ever decide to pick one up.

If you wanna go as cheap as possible, you'll have to go 1156.
Ive hit 4.0Ghz with my i7-860 on air. You'll definitely be able to hit those speeds with a decent 80-100 dollar cooler.
Noctua's NH-D14 will definitely get you to that speed.

The NH-U12P can get there, (Ive got it) but the temperatures aren't the best.
I run my rig at aprox 3.8 just to stay safe.

I'd suggest getting the processor from your local microcenter. Nobody beats their prices.
As for RAM, these are the cheapest 1600 dimms you'll find (after rebate)
