Not to take this thread too off topic, but I have to respond to this. I've always been a PC gamer, and have become very precise (and good) at FPS games with a keyboard and mouse. Recently bought my first ever console FPS (Black Ops), and despite spending a good 50 hours in multiplayer thus far (heading towards the 2nd prestige now), I still just SUCK using the controller.
The whole reason I bought the game on a console was so I could be semi-competitive when over at friends houses, but the controller just frustrates me to no end! The lack of precision, and time it takes to swing the gun around, etc, it's just lame, and I get beat and killed all over the place. Honestly, I'd much rather be playing it on the PC, but I am slowly getting better with the controller.
Anyway, the bottom line is, it comes down to what you are used to. It's not a "stupid fanboy argument", it really, truly is difficult for PC gamers to get used to console controllers, and vice-versa.
