wrong.... you only need nf200 for "true sli" The board is not tri sli at 16x16x16. Still you could run tri sli @ 8x8x8 or two cards at 16x16

12 pin? you mean 12 phase?
thats REALLY good. i dont care what mobo it is. moar phases means MOAR OVERCLOCKING!
imagine a 2600K @ 5Ghz under water with 3 HD6970s with eyefinity 3D...

anyway, my ASUS CHIV has 8+2 phase so i guess this blue board has more blue balls than mine frown.gif
...but what is the quality of those phases?
hopefully they wont asplode like the other MSI boards do :/
speaking of CHIV, the heatsinks look a lot like it! COPYCATS!

I found that the SB chips have such a low power draw that it doesn't really matter. My UD4 OC'd the same as my current GD65, so I just returned the UD4.

EDIT: But with my 1090t, I got to 4.6GHz on the CHIV while on the crappy 4 phase ASRock I only got to 4.0GHz

You must have one of those (NF200 or Lucid Hydra I believe) chips, though, as on P67 the CPU only has 16 PCIe lanes available! And you need more than 16 for 3 way SLI. The other PCIe lanes off of the chipset (I think it is 4X) on P67 can't be used for SLI. However, those lanes can be used for Crossfie.

TRI-SLI gpu configuration (32 lanes) is 16x+8x+8x or 16x+16x...just look it up cool.gif
