I know this isn't an automotive thread, but what misconception are you trying to insinuate about Ford?

Frequently when I hear about bad experiences with Android the person has a rather outdated Android phone. There's this one douche that I love trolling on my Facebook. The only Android phone he's ever even touched is a G1, yet he somehow claims superior knowledge on everything that Android can do and that every Android phone has that annoying lagging scrolling affect. I dropped a Youtube link of my HD2 (not even an Android phone) running Android UNDERCLOCKED without that scrolling lag, and he never seemed to respond to that.
I've got my HD2 running Cyanogen Mod 7 Gingerbread. I love it. I need to replace my battery because I believe it's the cause of my phone's problems.

Good to see that Android has passed iOS. Maybe Apple will start to roll out newer and better devices.Hopefully for us Android guys competiton will enable us to recieve better phones aswell.

This article does say US only. The others I'VE seen have said so as well. Android is likely surpassing iPhone in UK/etc. as well isn't it?
Oh, yes. I can see it now. I think im getting blind.

Source? I'm pretty sure Nokia is #1 worldwide. Seriously, Android is a small time minnow in Oceania at least. No idea how it's so big in the US.

I'd also wager that people who get Android phones don't necessarily make a conscious decision to do so unlike iPhone consumers.
No idea where you are but here at least, it's Android haven...And I'm pretty sure they'd make a conscious decision to get an Android phone, you do realize WP7 is competition? And considering half the time a decent Android phone costs roughly equal to an iPhone...Well, it's not like they walked in and said "I want an iPhone!" and got handed a Desire instead.

Design matters more than tools, factories, etc and the Unibody Aluminium frame does help a lot although I do disagree that the Macbooks have superior build quality, maybe compared to a HP...but a decent Dell? Samsung? Nah, and Lenovo? They'd kill any Macbook in build quality.
