You've got to be kidding me.

God, if I had to choose between being an apple fanboi and an apple h8er, I'd be a fanboi because there's no way in hell I'd ever want to be grouped in with you guys.

Well, this is what happens when you have billions and billions of cash on hand. I would expect some very competitive tablet prices when iPad 2 launches.

Whatever. Apple is at least pushing for better technology. They are in works with creating better battery technology, which everyone else will use or copy in the future. I may not be a big fan of Macs or some of Apple's methods, but they aren't the devil, people.

That's thinking smart

Like the rest of the Elitist Apple club.

MS is bad, but is getting better. Microsoft has even been giving money to a Open-source non-profit.
http://www.microsoft.com/opensource/

The way I see it is:
Apple is at there peak, and like most empires, they will collapse. With there business locked in proprietary overdrive, they are loosing fans faster than Michael Jackson after... well you know.

This looks like a Half A$$ attempt to hold on to #1 while they still can.

Apple fanboys, prepare to see what happens when you build your castle on sand.

Well, think of it like this... Most of the world just wants things to work, I like to mess with things. Apple it for the rest of the world, PC is for the enthusiasts.

Well I suppose if Apple has the money and power to do this than power to them. Sucks for the rest of us that It'l make it harder to purchase other tablets at reasonable prices but I guess that's life.

On the other hand I don't really get apples' approach... Spend money attempting to prevent their competition from succeeding in lieu of spending money to better their own devices to compete with the competition?
