My Asus does the same exact thing, and Asus from what I've read are known to do it. I do not know about otherboards, but I do know LLC is a standard on every board, you need it to be somewhat stable.

Plan your overclocking around that raise in voltage. I set my BIOS for 1.437 Vcore, but under load, it goes up as high as 1.5V. The only way around this is setting your Vcore high and disabling LLC. I managed to actually get about 5C cooler temps. My Vcore was set to 1.57 in BIOS, under idle, the actual Vcore was around 1.53V. Under load, it was 1.475, just enough to stay stable, but the much lower vcore under load kept my temps around 50-52C.

If you look around there is an article about the CH IV having this issue. I hope someone else can chime in on this because I cannot reccomend it since I'm not experienced enough on these processors. I simply know it works.

Mine does the same thing, it raises the vcore when i stress test the cpu. It seems to be a feature that's being incorporated on some of the better brand AMD chipset motherboards especially those aimed at overclockers.

briangp's suggestion is good. If your aim is to set the vcore at 1.5, undervolt from that 1.5 a bit, knowing the motherboard will add what is needed when it sees fit under stress. Also if your cpu-nb frequency is above 2000mhz try increasing the voltage of that closer to 1.4 and that should give you a bit room to lower the cpu voltage while remaining stable (and less hot on temps).

My board does the same...i set it at 1.5 or what ever but that is the idle volt as soon as it begins to take some load in goes up by .03 volts...give or take...but in your case 0.8v that is extreme...i have no idea what it could be...even when i disable CnQ and C1E it still does this. :S

So I should try to find a LLC option and turn it off and see then if it still pumps out those extra 0.08volts?

Also, whats the downside with not having LLC on?

The downside would be that your board would no longer increasing volts to assure stabilty under heavy load.

The difference remains at 0.8V, not 0.08V, right?
