Any suggestions?

P.S. I am interested in folding, I just want to fixed the issues first before I start. You will let me know how to start right?

It probably states that the second card is disabled cuz you don't hve a monitor connected to any of the display ports from that specific card.
What was the quirk on the red light then?

Sure i'll let you know how to start folding, and will assist you in what i can if you have any problem configuring the client
The corky red light on the motherboard was that the video card was not all the way inserted in the pcie slot. That was fixed with a couple of light bangs on the card

Now since the CCC recognizes the second card and it allows the crossfire to work then I am okay

Where can I get a good benchmarking software or what would you recomend?

As for benchmarks, 3DMark11, Crysis, F1 2010, Alien vs Predator, and some more games... you just need one though, to see if CF is really on, but if CCC lets you enable CF, then all is working

Matroska, 3DMark11 cannot be used with WIN XP64bit. I went to website and it states that it cannot be used with my current system. Any other benchmarking software you can suggest and could you help me out with overclocking "El Monstrito" to its best capacity possible???

Thank you in advance.

Matroska, I have also seen that El Monstrito shuts off without explanation When I start a game, like Civilization V, it starts to load and then after a few minutes, it shuts off I wish I can send you an image of my system but I do not know how. The only thing I can speculate is that it could be the tempetures, but it is just hard to say. Need to solve these issues first B4 I can start folding.

Any suggestions on these matters:confused :

XP 64-bit is limited to DX9.0c, that explains why you can't run any DX10 or DX11 benchmark...You can try 3dMark 2001, 2003 and 2005, i believe. it's a shame you don't have a DX11 compliant OS to test and game with those 6950... You can benchmark your system with Sandra also.
OCeing "El Monstrito"...hmmm,
Basic steps are increasing FSB until you can no longer boot. When this happens, you increase voltage and repeat the process. Make sure you set your CPURAM ratio to 1:1 so you know that it won't be your RAM setting you back while OCeing the CPU. when you reach an acceptable OC, test with prime95, intel burn test, OCCT, whatever you feel right, or all of them for several hours and monitor temps. If it doesn't crash you're good to go
A Q6600 should go to 3.6GHz quite easily, that is 400FSB x 9 (multi) with 1.4V IIRC. Higher than that will depend on your board and particular chip. There is a q6600 club somewhere around i think, you can check it for dirty OC
Your GPU, if you want to OC them too, are a bit easier, you just need a good software like MSI Afterburner, or edit the BIOS, if you feel comfortable with it, and rise core and memory clocks. I don't remember as of now if you can unlock those to 6970s by flashing BIOS...

It can be temps...are you monitoring them? Does it happen everytime you put some load on your system? Do you have any OC setting as of now?

It does happen everytime I put a load on it. I have not overclocked "El Monstrito" yet so I do not know what it could be. I believe is the temp but do not have a good monitoring program for that. Any suggestions for that and do you suggest I should get a new OS 64bit system to see a higher DirectX. I am 100% coachable on this. I really want this system to work properly.

HWMonitor to check on temps. Speedfan works too.

If it isn't temps, maybe the 6950s drivers...
It's hard to know what is going wrong for sure... Can you remember the code of the BSOD?

If you can get Win7 x64 you could put those graphics cards giving you extra eye candy

Thanx Matroska I will try those programs when I get home. How can I post a photo here? I have seen that some members have photos and BSOD is what

BSOD = Blue Screen Of Death, is what happens to windows when it crashes and reboots all of the sudden. Can't you see a blue screen with some letters when your system crashes?

You can Print Screen whatever is in your desktop and them upload the image to http://imageshack.us/ , copy its link and post it in the forum

You are right matroska, no BSOD at all No way to know what id the reason why. Gonna keep trying to see what else it is. I have not updated my BIOS at all since I got this MoBo. Maybe I should get the new BIOS for my MoBo. I'll keep you posted.
