10/10 on gamesradar too.

I am just trying to decide whether to get this on console/PC? Any thoughts?

What I got out of it, now that I've finally finished the single player campaign, is that anyone who likes and enjoys CoD and MoH style gameplay won't find this to be "anything special." Anyone who gets a kick out of a new mechanic and enjoys fiddling with it to get the best possible use out of it while like the game much better. The leash is pretty fun once you get a grasp on its best uses and start finding strategies where you don't just pump lead into your targets, but I can see where regular shooter fans will just get frustrated and stop using it. That in itself kills gameplay. Going through the skillshot menu and trying to get all of them is interesting, and usually pretty gratifying.

Basically, I think anyone expecting and wanting a "regular shooter" (like CoD or MoH or dozens of others) will find a "regular shooter" that is "nothing special." Anyone with the patience and will to work through the mask and figure out how to use the new toys best will likely find a far better game, though by no means is this universal, or does it mean this will be considered the best FPS ever made. It holds pretty high ranking in my mind, but there have been plenty of games that can beat it, though not in sheer tastelessness, which is always a plus in my book.

I was excited for this game. Then I saw it didn't have multiplayer and then I saw what it was about. Then I was and now I decided not to get it.

I'll stick with my Counter Strike till BF3 comes out.

There is multiplayer, but not PvP style. It's all co-op. At first I thought it was a stupid decision, but after playing it, I realized there was almost no way for them to balance it without it becoming a UT clone. I think they made the right call, but it's definitely gonna push a lot of people away. If you like PvP style gaming, don't bother with it. If you really want to see the story, wait for the price to drop or something and get it then.

Yeah my thoughts exactly.. So the question is, will the controls be that much better on console and will the graphics be that much better on PC?

I'm swaying more towards console at the moment.

Played the demo on PS3 and played the game @ my buddies house. It looks a good bit better on PC AA and higher res shadows and textures make a big difference. And the controls were fine on PC they take a bit of getting used to but once you do you start chaining the kill shots . The game kinda reminds me of the Clue but good xD

I don't think there's that much of a difference in control, though I can't say for certain since I haven't played on console. I may give the demo a try on my PS3, but I'd definitely be biased towards PC. I can imagine console players needing to use the leash more, though. Graphics are probably around the same, maybe a tad better on PC side. I'm about to load it up again, I'll take some screenies.

For those wondering about the graphics, I uploaded some maxed settings on my rig to youtube. Youtube does slightly compress the files I think, but its looks decent. Certainly not Metro 2033, or Crysis level, but good enough.

Click the video if you wish to view it in 1080p. I got one more coming but sadly uploading takes all day for me.

Enjoying the game so far...def a good time killer.
