Configuration Suggestions

Thread Starter
Hey guys just wanted to get your suggestions on configuring my system. More specifically my hard drives. I have the Kingston SNV425S2/128 SSD running Windows 7 Pro x64. I also have a Maxtor 300gb 7200rpm and a Seagate 750gb 7200 rpm drives in my system. This is the way I was thinking of setting them up and wanted to get your input and suggestions.

Kingston running OS(Windows 7 Pro x64) only
Maxtor running Games(BF2, BF3 Beta, Metro 2033 Dirt 2...) only
Seagate running Adobe(Photoshop, Flash,After Effects...) and other software benchmark and system diagnostic software.

This is hardware I already have and is installed in my system. Just wanted to put it to use. Oh and I am using a Drobo with 4tb of storage for backup.

Thanks

Take your suggestion, swap the maxtor and seagate. The reason is that the seagate, most likely being a 2 platter drive and thus having 500GB platters, has a considerably higher data density, and higher data density = faster read/writes. Put the programs you dont use much on the maxtor, and see about stuffing your editing programs either on the SSD or on the seagate.

Thats how i would do it
