Hammer is a bit technical, but that can come in handy when designing a level with a lot of detail. CryEditor is a lot more powerful, but mapping small details/creating your own buildings/shapes in incredibly difficult compared to the cut and dry way Hammer handles things.

I never did truly get to grips with CryEditor, but hammer took about 3 Weeks - 1 Month to get to the stage where almost anything is possible.

Plus, if you mod the source engine, more people will play it, rather than CryEngine 2

That picture has the most amazing lighting I've ever seen, if it is even real

I'm glad to know that they working on tools to allow mods to made easier, will be interesting to see what people will make

But I want EP3
(would be nice is Black Mesa Source would release aswell, atleast we can kill some time before EP3, and renew the glory of the original game )
