Looking for a cheap decent digital camera

I have only a budget of $200 and I was wanting a digital camera that takes nice pictures. I really don't know too much about cameras so I decided to ask everyone here on what to get.

I currently use the Canon SD1400 SI. I'm not a pro or anything with pictures, but this thing takes very very clear pictures at a high resolution. Got mine for 199 a few months ago, it should be cheaper now. It has great macro as well!

Alright I will take a look at that. I was looking at the Canon PowerShot SX130-IS is this camera any good? Reviews say it is good but has really low battery life. What do you guys think?

When I was looking at cameras myself, I narrowed my search down to the Sony DSC-H55 I have now and the Panasonic DMC-ZS5. Both looked like excellent cameras and came with manual settings, and I've been happy with the IQ so far.

That sony camera looks nice. I will put it on my list of possible choices. Got any pictures you took with it so I can see how the quality looks?

So far I'm pretty happy with it Having manual settings on it is really great. It's not a DSLR or S95/G12, but for the money I'm pretty happy with it.
