Lock Windows 7 desktop?

Thread Starter
Hey Overclock! I was hoping someone could tell me how I can lock my PC desktop therein keeping my stepsister from changing the icon sizes. She makes them *huge*, and I want them to stay at the default size. I realize I can easily change this back, but is there some way I can keep her from doing this? Thanks!

Either stop her going on there or you could use a program called deep freeze which locks your pc into a state if turned off will revert to the set state before hand, used in schools and business. If you have a different HDD you could keep all of your Files + Folders that you would like to keep on there.

What he said... I think that way she can have fun with her own account. Deepfreeze is not bad either if you don't want your sister messing up the computer. But it can be a burden for when you want to install things and you need to disable it (I wonder how it would work about saving games?) if they are in the frozen partition/disk.

@Dillmiester If only it was that easy. There's no personal space at my house, mate -.- Also, I had in mind more of a registry key value, that would keep people from tweaking this. I might make another account, though. I hate allowing them admin privileges haha Limited account, it is! Thanks, boys!
