Keyboard difficulties..

Thread Starter
Alright, I'm currently on my little Hp Compaq which I use mainly for just like surfing the web and such but as of late my "a" key is becoming increasingly difficult to press down and register that it's being struck. Most of the time I have to press down rather hard just to get it to type an A. I never realized how just how much I used that key until now. So my question is, how do I fix it?

Sounds like the domes are wearing out. Pretty much time to get a new one.

Oh, sorry for the confusion. Still rather new to this site. I'm on my net book which is a Compaq Mini 110c - 1001nr. And I tend to use it a lot for talking with my friends and such. I just need to fix the "a" key and was wondering if there were any way to fix it.

Not anyway that I'm easily aware of, replacement laptop keyboards tend to be expensive from what I've seen, dont quote me on that.

may be better off just buying a cheap wired keyboard instead of the built in one.

A replacement keyboard doesn't look to be too expensive at all:

NO way. You have to buy a new keyboard (desktop thru usb or laptop keyboard), or you should type words that don't h*ve the ch*r*cter * in it.
