Thread Starter
I have 2 computers. Mine is connected directly to the Router while My brothers is connected wirelessly.

My IP 192.168.1.197
Brothers IP 192.168.1.194

Now when I run a server from my brothers computer and need to port forward, Do I use my IP address since its directly connected to the router or do I use his (His computer is running the server)

or do I use the IP address assigned to my ISP which is

66.67.XXX.XX

The one with the "66" in the beginning is your connections IP which we don't want to work with. When port forwarding, you want to acquire the IP of the specific computer you are using (you got that already) and use that.

It would help to know what your router model is to make this process easier to explain....

Well if the server is on your brothers then you want to forward the ports to your brothers computer. To run the game the other players will put your Wan Ip from your ISP then the router will foward traffic to the specified computer on the port forward. You also might want to set his IP to static so that it doesnt change and then they can no longer connect.
