Yes as long as you have unlimited download, its fun to play but as many people have said is a button mashing, piece of piss game trying to be a RPG.

However i know why the did it as DA1 would not have worked for console. Also Combat RPGs are far more popular, see mass effect and fallout 3.

The sad thing is i won the game by going: RMB,1,2,3,4,5,6, Rinse and repeat.

Tactical RPG thnxbye

Played a bit of the demo and mouse look camera control without having to hold down RMB would be a nice option. I haven't played DA1 so I'm not sure if it's the same in that game.

Maybe I'm not fully understanding, but they did put DA1 out for consoles...

For all you button mashing complainers... the start of the game shows how strong Hawke EVENTUALLY BECOMES. Which is near the end of the game. You're then transported to an earlier time, with almost none of that power

So no, the start of the game against hordes of enemies is not how the entire game will be.

Gameplay is turd.

Fights are autowon by your companions using default attacks. No need to heal... you'll win. No friendly fire (so the best tactic if you want to feel involved is to spam fireballs and firestorms until everything is dead) and ludicrously overpowered abilities (+1m to 2h weapon reach? Really?) make this the least tactical RPG I've ever played.

This game had better have reviews where the reviewer is literally crapping rainbows and kitten juice or there's no way I'm buying into this hollowed out husk of a sequel.

Perhaps my initial impressions are wrong, but this mindless spamfest was the exact opposite of everything I loved about DA1.

u lost me at "better have... kitten juice" but anyway the whole point was that they fixed what most people hated about DA1. i personally enjoyed it on console but just because i expected it to royally suck it ended up being decent. i got it for pc and realized i hate it...
