The haters hate, because they are disappointed. They wanted another tactical isometric RPG, instead what we get is an action RPG with to much hack 'n slash in it. It's why I'm not going to buy this game. The Witcher 2 just keeps looking better and better.

And of course you always have some hating on the graphics.

i like the demo, tho there is a hidden feature within the demo if you got a bioware account it'll give you access to a DO2 DLC once you finish the demo, i think there is more then 1 dlc to be had in it to. ^-^

as for Flemeth, the Flemeth in DO wasn't Flemeths true form as in DO 2 shes in her true form, since in DO they were still in hiding.

Isabella's appearance is rather different, i do agree but her personality tho is rather the same tho.

if proof is needed for the DLC hidden feature just let me know and i'll take a screenie of it ^_^ i think the DLC works with PC,XBOX and PS3

this. the mage looks like she's dancing when she attacks, the UI is bland and so out of the way that it gives you the opportunity to look at the world, but the world also looks bland and uninspired. i don't know.

it's like they're two different games. the story still seems good, but the tactics seem to have been thrown out of the window to make it "cool" and cater to a wider audience. for me, in that process they've taken what made Dragon Age fun and compelling and thrown it out the window.

i wasn't considering even buying Shogun 2 at release because of other problems i had with Empire, but i can safely say that that's the game i'll get first.

Yeah, mine isn't the irrational hate of a tween scorned by Bieber; it's the annoyance of a full grown man who's had one of his most anticipated games potentially ruined.

It might be better than the demo. I seriously doubt it, but there's 2 days between reviews going live en-masse (the US release date) and the last chance for the pre-order bonus (the EU date) so I'll be able to read reviews and work out if it's worth it long before the pre-order bonus expires.

My thoughts about the demo:
+It was pretty fun while it lasted.

-No character customization
-Huge download for something so short
-Performance sucks at high settings 1920x1080 with AA.
-Not even given the option to max things out
-Textures are so low res...come on!

Besides the lousy Eyefinity implementation in the demo, which the developers admitted to and said will be fixed in the final release, the textures and environments just seemed blah. I did like the new combat, interesting change and was fun to use. Everything just felt very very empty.

Wasn't very good, to be honest. It runs well though, even on my old comp. high settings DX9 @ 1680x1050 ran very smoothly.

well the customization is just locked for the demo to be fair.

I enjoyed it. You can still mini-control every battle as in DO:A so I don't know why people are all complaining about it being 'to fast'. I enjoy the new fighting animations, and the rogue going 'POOF' and appearing behind the enemy to score some critical hits is awesome in my books.

Now granted that Orge was to easy to beat, but maybe there is a difficulty option like in the DA:O. I'm on the fence to buying it, but not because I think it will lack anything, just dropping another 60$ on a game isn't pleasing to my wallet..

The orge in the first encounter was easy to beat but the second one I had a bit harder of a time.
