Laptop shopping

Thread Starter
My current laptop may be crapping out on me, so I'm starting to shop for a (potential) replacement.

What I want:
  • Sub $1000
  • Preferably 15", but willing to consider other sizes
  • Ability to game proficiently (If it does better than my current, I'll be fine)
  • Respectable battery life (2-3 hrs would be great)
  • NO HP OR ACER (First laptop was an Acer and it failed, current laptop is an HP and is currently failing)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I've used a company named Sager in the past and have had no complaints... If you don't mind waiting until middle of march for one, they have one spec'ed around 950$, I'll give a link to their 15in labtops^^.

To meet your needs: It is around 1,000$ price. It's 15in which goes along with hopefully longer battery life and it's not HP or Acer! Also, you may want to do some more research on it if you are interested but that optimums technology is suppose to help with battery life by scaling down the graphics card when it's not being used... I don't know how well it works though :\\.

Hope this helps!
