What the $&!@ is going on with my router?

Well, you may have read my post about a week ago about my D-LINK DIR 615. I now have a different problem as I switched to a Netgear WGR614.

The internet works fine until I start a BitComet download task. I think you can sense my frustration when I tell you that I have a 50MB line and can't ****ing download anything.

I've disabled NAT filtering, the MTU size is 1500, I've set my PC up as a DMZ server, I've forwarded all the ports used by BitComet, my USB Network Adapter' drivers (Belkin K7SF5D7050B) and the router's firmware are up to date. I've tried setting the max connections on BitComet to 100.

I'm all out of things to try, please help me

EDIT: Forgot to say this - The connection says it still has 4 bars, even though no pages will load. I THINK I can still sometimes receive MSN messages and get like 20kbps on BitComet.

To fix this, I have to restart the router.

log into the router to configure its settings

should be
192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1
you may need to use a cable if you cant connect via wireless

use its wireless site survey to see what other networks it picks up
look at what channels are in use, pick one that is atleast 2 away from all others

on the wireless configuration setting page, set the channel
