Help overclocking Phenom II X6 1090T - Page 3

wow 4ghz and only 22 c ? maan thats crazy im running stock at 37C with liquid cooling h70 at winter time ! my overdrive dint detect the temp so i used AI Suit
is it even normal for me or do you have some crazy cooling system ?

So, it's ambient 20 degrees F in your house? Jesus man. Props to you!

Keep cranking up the overclock in that case. Oh, and if you use OCCT to test it, set what max temp you want in the config section, and if your CPU reaches that temp, OCCT quacks like a duck and kills the test immediately.

Or, your comp will reboot on it's own and you'll be looking at your windows login.

Also dont forget to bump up your CPU/NB freq to around 2600-2800 - this will show you a much bigger difference - it does on my system! but then you have to play with volts on that too, 1.3 sees mine ok there at 2900.

I have to use 1.4 to get to 4ghz - lovely chip you have there!!
