Not the best AMD mobo around (though it's still pretty good)
But seriously, $84/$68 AR (when not in combo)
Absolutely unbeatable.

I might have to go amd on my next build, but that won't be for at least another 5 years (for a completely new build), seeing as my sig is my first build and I only game so it was kinda overkill to get the 950. but more overkill now, the more I'll save because I wont need a new mobo, proc, ram, etc.

Wow, really good configs. If anyone's doing an AMD scratch build follow this guy's recommendations.

Only problem is you need to tack on $95 for Windows...

x6 + Windows 7 has $25 off combos you can use
1090T + 7 x64 Home Prem - $275
OR 1055T + 7 x64 Home Prem - $255
Win7 doesn't have any combos with the other builds. But with the x6 builds, if you add Win7 (i.e. don't have it yet) it'll keep your build tally below $825 and $1000 respectively.

I guess they want to get rid of their older stuff before SB kicks back and Bulldozer gets to the party eh? I still find this great as these combos will still be adequate for gaming for a good while. So everyone wins?

1600 CL8 capable, near-2000 CL9 capable definitely.
Certain kits will reach 1600 CL7-8-7 and 2000+ CL9
