They sold out the M4A79XTD?
Damn, that's a doozy, this should restock fairly soon though just like the Kingston RAM which'll be back in black today or tomorrow.

i was actually looking at xd's build:
The xd Megalodon AMPLIFIED:
1090T - $200
ASUS M4A79XTD EVO + GTX 560 Ti - $319, $304 AR
Kingston HyperX Blu 1600 CL9 4x2 - $90, $50 AR
Antec NEO ECO 520W - $40
NZXT M59 - $62 shipped
Samsung F3 1TB - $60
OCZ Vertex 2 60GB SSD - $120, $105 AR
Zalman CNPS10X - $40, $30 AR
LG 22X - $17 shipped after promo

it is in budget and seems to be more than perfect for what i want...one question on that though, i heard its better to spend a little more on the PSU than get a cheap one that might cause heating issues...does anyone know the reliability of this $40 PSU?..and i do plan on overclocking and using crossfire or SLI or w/e so i'd need to maybe upgrade to higher watts?...is there a point where you can get too many watts?

p.s. i wasnt paying attention to which window i had open and meant to put this on my thread =P

It's why I jumped to AMD Pretty cheap setup with a great bang. Wish I had the money for SB, but seeing as how I'm a student (and admittedly spent quite a bit on my camera gear), AMD it was and it hasn't disappointed me once. Rock solid stable on my OC'ed mATX setup and blows through my 15MP RAW files with no problem.

In short, if you're looking for a system with good bang for your buck, xd's builds are a great place to start!

Damnnnnnnn!!! Every gamer in South Africa envy's the prices you people get there... We pay about $344 for an AMD T1090 at the least!!! If only newegg shipped to SA =(..........................

Theres a reason why we are suggesting that PSU @ that price point. Its a very solid unit. Check out our PSU FAQ

and a review of this unit

Not much you can compare it to @ that price point.

If you won't be expanding to SLI (you'd have to use SLI hack and the GTX 560 Ti is real powerful anyway) the 520W will be fine
OS would be up to you i.e. if you want to use Windows 7 go ahead and buy it, or if you already have keys, or if you want to use Linux... which is why I didn't put an OS down. As I mentioned in an earlier page you could use x6 + Windows 7 promos and save $25

On the other hand HyperX Blu RAM is back in stock!

I think it's a good thing an OS isn't included. A fair number of us are students who can get discounts from our universities, or bring an old key over from our existing OS.
