Yeah as a student programmer, through the MSDN student e-academy I get unlimited win 7 professional home edition keys.
that and vista, xp, server 2008, Access 2010, Project Professional 2010, Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate edition, SQL Server 2008 Developer, etc etc... haven't need to buy anything in years.
