For PureTrak Talent & PureTrak Stealth Owners

Cleaning Chemicals which should NOT be used:
• Vinegar
• Cleaners containing bleach or solvents
• Acidic based cleaners (Including orange-based cleaning agents)
• Cleaners containing Ammonia

the Wash
Cleaning your PureTrak cloth mouse pad is fairly straight forward. If you can wash cloths, you can wash your mouse pad. Following these simple steps will ensure your PureTrak cloth mouse pad will come out looking brand spanking new

I think this in general will be helpful.

For cloth pads: just place it flat in a clean kitchen sink and rinse it with water and a little soap. I've used dishwashing liquid before. Then rinse it with hot water and dry flat. Takes a few hours for the rubber base to dry out. Don't recommend wringing the pad as it might separate the cloth from the rubber.

What about hard pads?

Like Razer Destructor?

I always just use clean water, but over time it might not be as efficient.

My younger brother sprays 2 coats of Scotch Guard when he first gets a new mouse pad. He's quite the messy guy. But, I must admit. Thing looks brand new after a year. He just lightly wipes it down with soapy warm water when he spills crumbs and Pepsi on it and re-coats once a month.

Sweet. I see that you care about your mousepad the same as I care about my acoustic guitar. When I need to clean my goliathus I'll use your method smile.gif
