Well, we currently have a 5MB/s fiber connection through Foothills, which is a small local ISP. When we moved here a year ago, they were the only place servicing the area, so we had no choice but to go to them for internet despite them being severely overpriced ($60 a month for 5MB/s down 1MB/s up, which is their fastest service offered).

That said, the other week I checked out the Suddenlink website and it appears they offer service in our area now. I'm pretty sure they're a relatively large ISP that offers service to the Kentucky/West Virginia/Ohio area. Anyways, we can get cable internet through them for the same $60 a month we're paying now, but it's 20MB/s down.

I'm curious if anyone here has experience with them and can fill me in as to whether or not they're reliable. As I said, the service we pay for now is very overpriced and slow compared to what we could switch to, however I've had zero issues with them. I just don't want to switch to an ISP that throttles like crazy or something like that.
