Running that exact drive in the netbook I'm typing this on.

Speedy as hell, durable (as in I've dropped the netbook from 6+ feet), and with the SSD, the thing stayed on and was fine.

Noticed dramatic performance increase between the SSD and the standard HDD, which is to be expected.

Good drive, good price, good to go!

Hope it helps.

I got one 1 month ago. I love it. The performance gain is huge compared to the older hdd's. I got the vertex 2 and it is my first ssd. OS is loading faster and especially games load about twice as fast.
Go for it!

I got the 60GB, and I get 250MB/s write and 270MB/s read speeds. OS boots in 13 seconds!

I forgot to even mention that! The battery life you get out of switching over is stellar. Added an easy 2 hours onto my Toshiba, and the twins that I'll be installing into my HP DV8 will likely help out a lot as well.

You'll love it!
