Well, the SOC is supposed to have better power delivery than other cards, which is supposed to make it stable and even more efficient than a stock card OC'd to 1000MHz. According. O Gigabyte, stock card @ 1000MHz is like 235watts, Gigabyte SOC is like 208watts, or around there. Can't remember exact numbers. Plus, the SOC has all parts cooled, I believe. It seems some of the other brands don't have VRM cooling. Can't remember which ones now. There was a whole thread on 560 cooling options when it first came out. Very informative. Look it up. I thought the SOC was worth the money. I guess the next and maybe remaining Gigabyte SOC's will be 950MHz though.
