Adding VGA Cooler, Time for another line?

Hey guys, long time reader, first time poster.

I've decided its time to upgrade my stock heater on my 470 GTX to a waterblock.

I've been reading what other say about running CPU and VGA through the same line, but my case might be different, because of my rad. Maybe 5 or 6 years back i was all about the LCS scene, and decided to pay the buck to get the Kandalf, http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Produc...C=1309&ID=1412
Its pretty much a 360mm rad, with 3 120mm fans.

Do you think this would be enough for the CPU and VGA without significant heat increase?

Currently i'm still using the stock pump, res, and waterblock, which i plan to upgrade soon anyway.

Let me know your thoughts! Thanks!

Hello, and welcome to OCN

I'm don't know much about watercooling but If I remember correctly from my reading on the watercooling section a 360 rad would probably be enough for a loop with CPU and GPU, but it would also depend on how good the rad is and the fans which are used, in what configuration they are (Push Pull, Pull, Push) If I was running a loop like that I would probably add another 120 rad to the loop with some Yate Loons or Gentle Typhoons

A 360 should be plenty.. Though the 470s overclock so well you'll probably want more

Ha i know, the 470 on air overclocks like crazy, even using msi afterburner, i can only immagine the effects of being water cooled, my kit dropped by CPU from bout 37 C average to 23 Cish, i bet with a good block for the VGA i can max out the 470.
