well i just tried 3dmark vantage and 3dmark 11 and from what i saw a oc 470 are beast. my sli setup scored 33,000 gpu vantage on proformance. and my 3dmark 11 was 9117. must say not bad cards.

True, but a 560 does not OC like a 470 does.

Stock, you're correct, a 560 does consistently edge out a 470, but it doesn't have anywhere near 40% of OC'ing headroom like (a lot of) 470's do.

If it did, you'd be able to OC them to 822 + ( 822 * .4) = 1150MHz.

You seen anyone do that lately?

Don't get me wrong, the 560 is beast, but it's not so superior to a 470 as you make it sound. It really depends on the prices each card is at. But the 560 is cooler and quieter, no doubt.

Yes the 470 is a beast too, I won't say it ain't, I use them in an SLI setup with EVGA SC+ cards in the computer I sold to the school that I now use as my coding/break gaming PC there, with the i7 930 and EVGA X58 FTW3. Really no problem running anything except once they ****ed up with the drivers and SLI didn't work properly, clean install fixed it.
