resolution problem

So I'm at school and soe dumb kid before changed the resolution so that the monitor won't read the resolution. Error message: input signal out of range. please set reolution to 1280x1024x64. The computer is running windows xp... anyone know of a program or something can can remotely change it back?

What is the real resolution of the display?

Powerstrip might work but I'm not sure if it's free

Boot into safe mode. 640 x 480. Then reboot and change it back.

How do I get into safe mode?

@De-Zant: the resolution currently is at 720x400

Ok I got it into safe mode but it is stuck trying to boot Mup.sys
