I haven't come across one site I visit that requires me to use Flash either, I just don't see what the big deal is with Flash anyways... well other than it's the only flaw I've ever head of on the iPad. But is it a flaw?
I'm a youtuber, a lot of videos I find arn't converted. Using specific features in your youtube account is also unavailable. Also, on ocn, I like to put my mouse over a news link to read the whole title before clicking on the topic. On the ipad, it makes a big block that covers my screen and any other links and then i can't click anything.
For my personal use, lack of flash support and the way safari works is crutial to my choice.

I like the androids chances
Having used a few android devices and one of their tablets. There isn't much that one can do that the other can't. Althought there are thousands upon thousands of apps for the ipad, i find that the essential apps that you really need are available on both tablets
