Why laugh at them when you can profit off of them and cheer them on? As an AAPL Call holder, I say leave them be!

What you see in the browser is not Flash. Youtube had stringed their library to run through an embedded HTML5 player when an iOS browser loads the page. That's why you can play videos on Youtube through the browser. Really, any time you can see a video playing within Safari, you can bet your ass it's HTML5 and not Flash.
Oh huh. Well I'm glad some one took the time to explaine that to me a bit. That'll save me some arguing. XD

I dont think I'll ever understand why this "talking point" gets brought up in every thread. Are you guys that desperate?

News Flash:

All the stuff Apple sells gets updated once a year. The iPhone line gets refreshed every June, iPods in the fall, MacBooks this time of year. I can't recall a product being refreshed more than once annually. If anything they take longer to get refreshed, like the Mac Mini. This has been Apple's market strategy for a very long time.

Not a single one of those will come close to killing the iPad. Won't even hurt Xoom.
Hey look! someone smart on OCN!

As for the tablets, yeah.. they pretty much all suck. No version of windows will run well on such low power CPU's and GPU's. Hence Windows 8, Which I believe will have a tablet version or something, I remember reading about it, but can't remember the exact details.

I'm comptemplating buying the iPad 2 right away, or wait a littler over a month and get it for my birthday. As for people calling me out on deciding to buying a un-released product.. I'd be happy with buying the current iPad, so anything thats improved on in the new iPad is just a bonus.

I think the WP7 OS could be possibly work quite well in a tablet form. Certainly not Windows 7 though.

Android tablets are just so much more ugly than the iPad as well and they don't have application support. Personally, I'm getting one for newspapers, Financial Times, BBC, National Geographic, AFR etc. Not all of them are available on Android.

They also don't have the support of a lot of big third party dev's and such, Apples products, ..weather you like them are not, are proven to be successful. As such, they are getting both TONS of new hardware and software each day.
