MSI BIG BANG MARSHAL is Here!

Thread Starter
Hi Guys,

MSI were so kind to send me the truly awesome Big Bang Marshal released yesterday. Looks amazing and absolutely massive being XL-ATX sporting 8(!) PCIE x16 slots capable of x8/x8/x8/x8 in 4-Way.

Shall be putting it through its paces this weekend with another 2600K. My other one on my old GD55 & 65 caps out at 5.45GHz.

Pictures attached. Should have some results done by Monday. Looking at stable clocks on air, max OC on air, then its the turn of DICE benching if I find the time after some X58 DICE benching.

Some quick features include:

24 Phase Power
X-Fi Audio (EAX 5.0)
8 PCI-e x16 Lanes
Dual 8 Pin CPU Power
Lucid Hydra!
12 USB 3.0 Ports

Could quite possibly be the best P67 board on the market (pending results) =)

I couldn't image how much PPD 8 GTX 460 single slots would pull! They should donate some of these to us for folding purposes.

Gdamn, that makes me grunt like Tim Allen when I see it.

Nice board. Is that real HW X-fi or the software crap?

I still haven't seen any available on the markets. I'm just saying...

RawZ? Could you get it to work? :-)

Sadly DOA. Waiting for the replacement to arrive.

if maybe 10 OCNers had that kind of motherboard *the type that has 8 express slots* we'd overtake EVGA on F@H
