The option to undervolt/clock when idle in bios

Ok i think it's called like cool n quiet but i'm not sure. Before my rig would downclock to .4x multiplier and be at 800mhz and it would idle around 29C. Now since i oc'd it it always stays at the max frequency and teh temps are higher than i'd like them to be. i set cool n quiet back to auto but it still keeps me at max frequency when in windows7, how do i enable this again?

You have to go to your Control Panel and go to your power settings. Instead of High Performance, choose Balanced or Power Saver. Also, if there's an "Enabled" option for Cool n Quiet, choose that instead of "Auto". I've had it on Auto before and it would not downclock when I OCed, until I had set it on Enabled.
