Too Much Vcore?

Well I have my E6600 @ 3.6ghz but in bios my vcore is 1.57v and it windows its 1.488v, Is this too much?? Another question I did the Vdroop mod and shouldnt it read in windows is what i put in bios?

Yes I would say that it is to much. What are your temps like at this voltage?

Not as high as I expected with that much voltage, you are still within safe limits for temp anyways. Did you do the Vdroop mod yourself? If so then you should have the skills to find the voltage read point for the CPU's Vcore and measure it there on the board for the exact Vcore. Measuring it from the mobo during idle and load is the most accurate by far.

No it is not too much you have about the same chip I do mines at 3.62 right now and I gotta give it 1.6 in the bios to be stable. I've had it all the way to 3.8 at 1.75 and its been at 1.9 before by accident when I removed the voltage jumper and I didnt know it would increase the current voltage.

Also thats a horrid vdroop.

After you vdroop mod it, it should read closer to what you have it set in the bios. If its still at 1.57 and 1.48 then you need to increase the resistance.
