Thread Starter
so i am selling some old drum stuff this friday and will be getting $70, at first i wanted to get faster RAM but thats just out of my price range so ive decided on getting a higher watt/higher quality psu.

what do you guys reccomend? i want atleast 700w, anything more is a bonus i guess.

I suggest you get something like the Aerocool E85-700, it offers 700 Watt and costs about 90 Euro's.

Aerocool has a wide range of PSU's with a lot of Watt, for a lower price than average.

What do you need 700W+ for?

You're not going to find a high quality ~700W unit for $70.
Here are a couple of "low" budget suggestions:

Are you going to be upgrading your graphics heavily any time soon? Because you have nowhere near a system that needs anything like 750W. As I keep seeing posted in this forum over and over, you could run your current system with 4x 4770s (is that possible? dunno) on a 650W with room to spare.

Perhaps save your $70 in the bank, add it to another 70 dollars in the future (or less with interest woo!) and splurge on a newer gfx card or something else fancy?
