Has anyone had this problem?

Have to leave for work for a few hours so I wanted to put this out there and see what responses I could get. My HD 5870 will shoot up to 99% activity in CCC after playing NBA 2K11. It doesn't do that after running any benchmark software or anything, and I haven't really played any other games recently to see if it does it then.
I exit 2K11, and sometimes its a 0% once I exit, but a little later its up to 99%. Once I restart the computer everything is fine again. I noticed this when I went to check my temps in CCC a few days ago cuz it was a little warm here and they were in the mid 50's! I was like whoa! They normally idle between 35-40. Then I seen activity at 99%. Any ideas. Drivers maybe?

Ill be back later.

This happens to me all the time randomly. I just deal with it by a reboot. I have worse issues with my crossfire setup to worry about. I think it is a driver bug that started at 10.12

I think Im gonna try rolling back and see what happens. I doubt too much has been done to recent drivers to affect 58XX series cards, probably more directed at 6xxx series.

try either updating drivers, or rolling back drivers to the last time you didn't have the problem

i have found for me 10.10 seems to be the most stable.... anything higher than that and my second monitor seriously goes bi-polar.

I wish I only worked 4 hrs....

Maybe your GPU hates being wasted on NBA 2k11....just a thought.

Lol, mkay. Said I had to go to work for a few hours, not work an entire shift.

And that's all I have to waste my GPU on for right now. That and GTA IV. But Im really trying to get the hang of 2K11 right now, passing is a Biotch. Just got back from work again, gonna trying going back to 10.10 drivers.

UPDATE: Looks like it's just the drivers. I rolled back from 11.2 to 10.10, kept the same CCC and everything else, just changed drivers. No problems yet. I played 2K11 for a while and the activity went down to 0% as soon as I finished and never jumped back up. Hopefully this solves it.
