Aesthetic Question about the EVGA GTX 560

This question is directed towards those who own the card or have seen it in person please.

I see the card listed on newegg and the photos they show represent the card with a hideous brown PCB. Now I know when it comes to raw power looks don't matter, but man, brown is probably the worst color a manufacturer could choose. And to me the PCB color IS important since it's the part of the card I will see when it's in my system. And god forbid it clash with my blue Asus board. HAHA!

Can anyone confirm or deny the existence of the brown PCB on the EVGA GTX 560Ti? Thank you!

I know what u are saying specially if someone wants to have a theme going in the rig as well but sometimes you got to sacrifice a bit of looks for performance at least in my mind and not the other way around. I don't own the card but it looks like a brown PCB, some of the ASUS board have a similar color I notice that u own an ASUS is yours not brown? I was looking at that card and there is no top for it yet maybe later and it will hide a bit of the P()op looking PCB.

Yeah I want to try to keep the number of different colors to a minimum. I mean the look is important, that's why some of us have plexiglass on the sides of our cases!

My asus board does have a brown PCB, but it is very dark almost black. The 560 looks like a light doodie brown. Not cool. Not cool at all. I mean what is wrong with black???

Haha. you could just get a back plate from EK or something. I just bought one for my 580 and they're only like 30 dollars.

Edit: Gigabyte has a blue one. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-363-_-Product

I didn't know they made aftermarket backplates. The best looking card by far in my opinion was the 65nm EVGA GTX 260 and core 216 with the backplate that had the flames. The back plate is all we see when it is in the case, I wish companies would do backplates more often.

Thanks for the link, but I'm an EVGA fanboy haha, not really but I do like EVGA's quality and style.

Yeah, I would have gone EVGA over Gigabyte also.

I agree too. whats with no backplate?! For the price I paid for my card, they should have put on it. If you're spending 250 + dollars on a card, it should come stock.
